Rules of patient behavior in day hospitalization
For the smooth running of medical activities, during their visit to the LISIMED MEDICAL CENTER or hospitalization, patients must take into account the following rules:
- To respect the rules of access, conduct and discipline of the unit, and the Internal Regulations displayed at the Reception and not to produce audio video noises that may cause discomfort to other patients and not to damage the property of the unit.
- Not to smoke in the premises of the unit, not to consume or bring into the unit alcoholic beverages or dangerous substances or substances prohibited by law and to keep the premises of the hospital clean.
- To respect the privacy and confidentiality of the person, the private life and the schedule of the other patients, including the medical staff.
Personal hygiene rules
- To use the paper towels and soap available in the sanitary group for personal hygiene, respecting the hand washing and disinfection instructions visibly displayed.
Obligations regarding the requested medical services
LISIMED MEDICAL CENTER patients have the following medical obligations:
- Presentation of all documents necessary for admission to certify the quality of insurance and referral by the family doctor (except for emergency presentation situations).
- To provide the medical staff with all the relevant information they have about their own state of health, as well as information of any other nature (religious affiliation, cultural, ethnic values, etc.) that may affect or influence the medical care and related services provided by the MEDICAL CENTER Lysimedes.
- To provide accurate and complete information in relation to previous hospitalizations, personal and health details, including diet and lifestyle.
- To ask the medical staff for detailed information regarding the individual state of health, the investigations and analyzes carried out, the established diagnosis and the proposed treatment, before giving their consent to any procedure and medical act that they accept.
- To strictly follow the treatment plan indicated by the attending physicians and to discuss any changes they wish with those who established the treatment.
- To assume full responsibility for the consequences that arise in case of refusal to follow the treatment, instructions and recommendations of the medical staff.
- To inform the medical staff, accurately and on time, about any manifestation or reaction to the treatment or prescribed medicines.
- To inform the medical staff and request support for any concerns and questions regarding the medical documents, provided by the LISIMED MEDICAL CENTER or the instructions regarding care and treatment at home and to take into account that a medical service is not available at a given time.
- To appear for consultations / interventions / hospitalization at the time established according to the appointment or to notify the Reception at least 24 hours before this, in case the appointment must be canceled or changed
- To present to the family doctor the hospital discharge ticket and the medical letter received upon discharge and to continue the treatment at home (after discharge), according to the recommendations of the attending physician.
