Dermatological interventions

Controlled microdermabrasion is a modern mechanical peeling technique. It has been used since the mid-1980s by dermatologists and beauticians.

It consists in the use of a continuous jet of abrasive aluminum oxide crystals, set in motion by the power of negative pressure (vacuum) and applied to the skin through a hand piece, achieving the partial removal of the epidermis. The depth of the peeling is variable and is decided by the operator depending on the objectives of the treatment. By removing cells from the superficial layers of the epidermis, cells from the base layer are stimulated to divide.

Although it works superficially (generally only in the epidermis), microdermabrasion triggers deeper changes (at the level of the dermis). The synthesis of collagen, elastin and blood microcirculation is stimulated. The results are visible immediately after the first treatment.

The skin is brighter and smoother. The sensation is of "clean and fresh skin"...

Dermoscopy (microscopy with epiluminescence) represents the visualization of skin lesions (usually moles and pigmented nevi and tumors, but not exclusively) with the help of an instrument that offers a magnified image rich in details. The examination is done in vivo, it is not painful, it is reproducible and relatively cheap. It is done with the help of the dermatoscope.

Dermatoscopy is useful in assessing the benign or malignant nature of a mole (pigmentary nevus), but other diseases such as basal cell carcinoma, dermatofibroma, scabies, etc. can also be visualized and diagnosed.

MESOTHERAPY is an active, non-invasive technique that lasts 20 to 30 minutes and consists of a sequence of skin injections, absolutely painless, performed with the help of micro-needles arranged in a mesotherapy gun, which allow the injection of very small amounts of substance on each injection. The skin is penetrated by a cocktail of nourishing and stimulating ingredients, associated with hyaluronic acid. The cocktail of ingredients is composed of dozens of active principles, including vitamins A, B and C, amino acids, minerals, coenzymes, etc.

It is carried out in the following situations:

  • Regenerative skin therapy (reduces the partial attenuation of superficial wrinkles, hydration, increased brightness of the skin, slight face lifting)
  • Cellulite therapy
  • Hair loss treatment
  • Stretch mark therapy

Laser therapy indications:

  • Acne
  • Alopecia
  • scar
  • Burns
  • Eczema
  • Calf ulcers
  • rosacea
  • furunculosis
  • hematoma
  • Herpes simplex, shingles
  • Lichen planus
  • Stretch
  • Postoperative scarring

Removes skin imperfections (spots, scars, etc.) and causes skin layers to regenerate.

Dermato-cosmetology:

  • Permanent hair removal and the safest and most comfortable and pain-free method
  • Facial rejuvenation (wrinkles fading, skin glow)
  • Venectasia elimination
  • Removal of pigment spots

Treatment of skin conditions resistant to classical therapy:

  • Treatment of acne resistant to other treatments and with the effectiveness of 90%
  • Treatment of psoriasis

The treatment is performed by a dermatologist, with competence in Dermatocosmetics issued by the Ministry of Health. Hyaluronic acid is presented in the form of a biodegradable gel in pre-filled syringes that is injected into the dermis in small quantities with a very fine needle. The result is instant, producing a long-lasting, natural, safe and gentle effect for the skin.
It can be used to correct static facial wrinkles, to shape the contour of the face, to increase the volume of the lips or to fill depressed scars.
There is no prior test and minimal adverse reactions may occur locally.
The treated area must not be exposed to intense heat (solar or sunbathing) or extreme cold in the first week after the procedure.

The treatment is performed by a dermatologist, with competence in Dermatocosmetics issued by the Ministry of Health. Botulinum toxin (Vistabel) is used to correct (dynamic) expression wrinkles in the upper half of the face. This is introduced into the problem area by injection at certain points and in precisely dosed amounts.

It is contraindicated to carry out this procedure (botox injections) for people who are found in one of the following cases:

  • Allergic to one of the components used in the preparation of the toxin (albumin)
  • Conditions that cause a general decrease in muscle strength (myasthenia gravis)
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding period
  • People under treatment with anti-inflammatory, anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs
  • The presence of infections on the face

After botulinum toxin injection, it is recommended to move facial muscles in the injected areas approximately 5 days after treatment, avoid exposure to heat (sun, solarium, hot shower, etc.) one week after treatment and do not massage the treated area one week after treatment.
Another type of botulinum toxin (Dysport) is used for the treatment of hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) at the axillary or palm level. Several injections are made in the respective areas.
