Real Time RT-PCR test<\/h2>\n<\/div>

Also called a molecular test, the RT-PCR COVID-19 test detects the genetic material of the virus using a laboratory technique called polymerase chain reaction (PCR). A sample is collected from the patient with the help of a swab, from the nose and mouth, nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal collection.<\/p>\n

For a precise result, it is better not to eat or drink anything 3-4 hours before harvesting.<\/p>\n
